About the show
Real people,
real stories.
A long-form podcast made at home in Moncton, New Brunswick. One guest, one central idea, as long as the conversation needs.

Meet the host
Hi, I’m Jorge.
“People only really connect with real stories from other people. That’s the whole point of this show.”
I’m a Honduran immigrant who landed in New Brunswick four years ago and founded LIF Media to show people here the products, ideas, and quiet work already being built across this province.
I’m incurably curious. For years I’ve been looking for better ways to connect with people and tell their stories, because the goal of every conversation is to leave you with more value than you walked in with.
Where The Edge Is is the long-form version of that work. Real conversations with real people, recorded at home in Moncton, for anyone who likes hearing someone actually mean what they say.
On the show, my job is to do the prep, ask the next question, and then get out of the way once the guest starts talking.
, Jorge
The show, in pieces
What every episode is.
Six simple things to know before you press play.
-
One guest
Every episode is a single person and their story. No panels, no co-hosts, no detours.
-
One central idea
Every conversation orbits one specific thing the guest has earned the right to talk about, what they learned and what it cost.
-
As long as it needs
Each episode runs as long as the central idea takes, long enough to get past the surface, no filler.
-
Made at home
Recorded in Moncton, New Brunswick. The voices, places, and accents of the Maritimes.
-
Unrehearsed
Both sides know the angle going in. The rest is honest talk, Jorge preps, asks the next question, then gets out of the way.
-
For anyone curious
No jargon, no insider talk. Stories worth hearing whether you build things or not.
